MY DREAM

What do you want to be? Where do you want to be? Who do you want to be? These are some of the questions that get us thinking about what we want to make of our lives. These are the same questions we used to motivate the girls in the Career Leadership and Support Program to draw a road map to their future. The more we think about who we want to be, the harder we work to achieve our dreams. “Write your dreams in journal, note book, card or on a cork. When you pen down your dreams, an a inner strength and divine power is activated for your to work towards the fulfillment of your dreams.” – Lailah Gifty.

During our life skills class, we talked about our dreams and how we can achieve them by use of a dream board. This was to help girls realize what they want for themselves and to also share ideas on how they can gradually achieve them and for those who are already living some of their dreams to help shape their dreams to achieve more of what they want to achieve. The dream Boards presented were full of love, determination and creativity like the ones below:

The ladies all presented their dreams boards to the class and by presenting to the class, it helped them practice their presentation skills and most of them were doing very good.

The girls couldn’t be more excited to work on their goals that have been visualized. We look to forward to supporting and helping the girls every day, for a better future!
