The University Code Girls movement is aimed at training ladies in university how to use various programming languages in the field while being innovative. We are currently in two universities in Kampala, Makerere University Kampala (MUK) and Makerere University Business School (MUBS). We hope to spread to Kampala International University (KIU) and Kyambogo University (KYU).

The Code Girls Training is split into clubs were a lady selects the club to which she wants to belong to for a period of 8 weeks. During this period we meet once every Friday evening for three hours ; 5pm - 8pm. The clubs we have at the moment are Python, Windows Dev, Graphics, Android, and CMS

In addition to the technical skills that the ladies acquire, they get Career guidance, mentor-ship, exposure to other short training programs and networking with people already practicing in the field.
