What can we do to advance education in Africa where resources are scarce? Use Technology, its sustainable and scalable. Build digital tools that rural and community schools can use to support teachers where there are not enough. Help students understand difficult concepts that their teachers cannot teach. When classroom hours are not enough for teachers to engage students, use technology to encourage self and peer learning. AT WITU we are using technology to build digital tools that will support millions of students access learning material and resources that their schools cannot afford or their teachers cannot teach to improve their learning outcomes.
We in partnership with UNICEF Uganda have built the first 4 digital games to support learners in Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, through animation.
